Golang Job: Senior Experience Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Senior Experience Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract. Remote candidates are accepted, no time zone restrictions.

Summary:
As an Experience Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services and APIs. Your expertise in Go (Golang), will be crucial to delivering seamless and efficient solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:
* Senior Experience Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang) and Python
* Maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and other frameworks
* Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions
* Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices
* As a Senior Experience Engineer, you will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
* Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of professional experience in software development
* Extensive GO experience
* Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django)
* Proficiency in Python
* Strong analytical problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
